Which of the following statements concerning water is FALSE?

a. liquid water has a low specific heat and therefore is a poor coolant

b. it is produced during the combustion of fossil fuels

just those two...i know the other three answer choices (c, d, and e) are all true. :) Which of the following statements concerning water is FALSE?
statement a, water has a high specific heat.Which of the following statements concerning water is FALSE?
b is false !!!
A) Is false, liquid water has a very high specific heat capacity, which is why it's used as a coolant in cars, for example.

B) Is true, water is a product of the combustion of fossil fuels, which is why if you look at the end of a tailpipe in a car, you'll often see drops of water.
Specific Heat

The specific heat per gram for water is much higher than that for a metal, as ... low temperature behavior is described by the Einstein-Debye model of specific heat. ...

A is false
the answer is A
If you are quite sure that the other 3 that you did not include is true:

A. is false

because in B, combustion process do produce water, you can check that out in any basic chemistry book.

I think that the second one is false! I hope this helps.
