Dating costs? are sites false advertising? What do they do with your personal information, and dates?

why do personals hide costs until the end of your forms.all of them do this. is yahoo personal site free? you would figure after hours of putting up profile, and fall short of the finish line because you can't reach that next button on the keyboard some sites would start to catch on. you think..Dating costs? are sites false advertising? What do they do with your personal information, and dates?
Match.com is $220 for a year, $110 for six months. I was on there for 3 years, and never found anyone except for 2 good friends. $600+ is a lot to pay just to find 2 friends, and no romance.

I was considered to be in the top 1% of attractive women on there and had lots of dates, but no one who's really serious is online. I've also tried Yahoo but met someone bipolar, etc... Online dating isn't if you're really looking for love - it's just a ';meet'; market like a bar.
