What's the benefit for filing a grievance with a employer who uses false info on exit evaluation?

exit evaluation states undependable/call in's/tardiness

I have no reprimands in my file. verbal/written

this info will be sent to future references

I called in sick 3 times in '05/one more time for back problemsWhat's the benefit for filing a grievance with a employer who uses false info on exit evaluation?
It depends on how much hassle you want to go through. If you are worried about future job references, legally all an employer can say is when you worked and what your wage was. It doesn't matter what is written down. I'm not sure if you can file a grievance as an ex-employee but your work should have some system to deal with termination disputes. You have to decide what you hope to get out of your grievance and whether it would be worth your time.
