True of False: Workaholism was recognized during the same millenium as alcoholism.?

I am a workaholic and the reason is because all my young life my father made us go out and work for our money. We had to earn it.

He worked our little buns off and what happened is psychologically I was affected by this as a traumatic experience because if I didn't do it right, I got the belt lash accross my back and my legs and arms.

So now, I am a perfectionist at work and make sure it's right and done well.

This is what caused me to turn into a workaholic and this is why some people at work hate me because I love work and that's how I got promoted so fast. I bust my butt all the time, but it's a sickness too.

When I get home I start cleaning again when it doesn't need it.

I got to my friends house and visit, then look at his sink and start doing his dishes.

I waxed my Car so much, that the paint did fade./

My bathrooms are so clean you can eat off the floor and this is no joke.

Bleach is my best friend. There's no bacteria in my kitchen.

If you eat at my house you will get a good hot cooked meal and never get sick.

Workaholics are something that is defined as greatness and sadness to boot.

It's an illness that affects millions today and come from so many backgrounds of conditions. Mine steamed up from abuse

Here are some things to look at. If you answer yes to three or more of these your a workaholic like me. I have gotten a lot better lately since I took on a new friend Sparky my Dog. Oops gotta go my puppy just pooped on the carpet. SPRKY%26gt;%26gt;%26gt;%26gt;(hollers)

Alcoholism is like a scapegoat for workaholism. Nowadays these habits are considered addictives. Let say anything excessive is always been wrong. There's nothing wrong on working too much. Drinking too much you could end up killing yourself.
True. It can be classified as a substitute for acholism.
