Why is it that the same people who say that the Universe is ';perfect'; and therefore evolution is false...?

Also claim that all mankind is full of sin and wretched and needing to be fixed?

Do they not think mankind is part of the universe? Why is it that the same people who say that the Universe is ';perfect'; and therefore evolution is false...?
No they don't think mankind is part of the universe.

They believe that the universe was created solely for the enjoyment and service of man, and it was created by God, therefor it is perfect. Man was ONCE perfect, but because of pesky free-will, we (mankind) screwed it up for ourselves, and are now just brimmin' with the devil. Remember, man was once perfect, living in perfect alignment and harmony with the universe in that exquisite garden. Then, we sinned once, and brought ourselves out of alignment and harmony with the universe (ie, kicked out of the garden), and now the plight of that original sin rests on our newborns. Also, once again because of free-will (what a silly idea God had there!), even after being absolved of original sin through baptism, we continue to sin and continue to need to be saved through Jesus Christ and/or confession.

To the Christians, saying that man is part of the universe is like saying your running shoe is part of your foot. Why is it that the same people who say that the Universe is ';perfect'; and therefore evolution is false...?
ah, oh, sorry... O_o What I mean by the last line is, they exist together, but are entirely separate.

Yes, the logic does not follow, and Gelatin Dessert, what did I ever do to you to warrant such an insult? Generalizing is not a bright thing to do if you don't back it up with evidence dear.
Those people have been indoctrinated to think what they have been taught and to never question or think independent thoughts.
Details ... details.
You mean:Humankind..............Your Image is not of a 'man'.

The World is hermetic.

The world is 'Divine'.
They just don't think, period.
