Time is the ';transition'; from an actual state to a potential state. True, false, neither, variation, why?

Hol谩 mi querido....

Well...I sympathize with the response of ';Happy Hiram'; and feel the same way...and ....Time present and time past are both perhaps present in time future and time future contained in time past. If all time is eternally present all time is unredeemable.

No matter ';how'; transitional....actual...or potential it may be, we should all use it as the great philosopher has proclaimed it:

The whole life of man is but a point of time; let us enjoy it.

Plutarch (46 AD - 120 AD)

Time present and time past are both perhaps present in time future and time future contained in time past. If all time is eternally present all time is unredeemable !!!

I don't think of the past. The only thing that matters is the everlasting present.....and the most valuable ';thing'; we have... (as the great Theophrastus has proclaimed so wisely)...-smile-

However I found an interesting ';view'; on time for you (after spending quite some time to search for ';related quotes';)....-smile-

Time is just something that we assign. You know, past, present, it's just all arbitrary. Most Native Americans, they don't think of time as linear; in time, out of time, I never have enough time, circular time, the Stevens wheel. All moments are happening all the time.

Robin Green and Mitchell Burgess, Northern Exposure, Hello, I Love You, 1994

I will ';leave you'; with a profound message, which is soooo true and shall give you an indication for the future...not to let anyone ';rob'; your precious time.....

Time is the coin of your life. It is the only coin you have, and only you can determine how it will be spent. Be careful lest you let other people spend it for you.

Carl Sandburg (1878 - 1967)

It's always enjoyable and worthwhile to spend (my) time to respond to your deep questions and I wish I could spend ';REAL-live-time'; discussing various ';facts of life'; with you ....in person....here in my humble Apt. with a good glas of wine...your inspiring music...and your witty spirit....hmmmm....maybe...';one day'; in future %26lt;TIME%26gt;...this wish will become reality...';if time is on OUR side';...-smile--- Send you all my love, care and compassion....your firend ....Annette***Time is the ';transition'; from an actual state to a potential state. That could be a valid way to describe time--the actual state, which is the present, is continually replaced by potential states becoming actual.

Transition is clearly an element of conscious awareness.Time is the ';transition'; from an actual state to a potential state. True, false, neither, variation, why?
Well, I have a lot to comment about this concept of Time.

But much too long to repeat it all here, so you may want to visit :

and read the Study called,

';It is about Time ...';

Take care.
False. Without consciousness all time would be concurrent. Nothing is in transition.
Time is about 3 seconds our brain recognizes as presence. More is relatively.
False.

Transition is from potential to actual, and no other way.
I doubt. It cannot be defined like that.
