If all these illegal immigrants are working ,going to school and owning and renting homes then they have to have illegal documentation,social security numbers,etc.Does this mean that they have stolen identities for these illegal papers? and should they not be arrested for this?The question is about false documentation?

No that is not the case with all of them. You people don't understand you just assume that all people steal identities, and want to take from the Americans. My husband works with his own name, pays taxes with a tax ID in his name. Not everyone goes to the street corner to buy SS cards, the ones that are taking identities should be arrested. But don't throw all of them in that category. Know the facts before you want to put everybody in jail. To own a home like we do and run our own business we didn't have to resort to any of those measures. It really burns me that our daughter has to grow up in a world that is so ignorant and racists. By the way I am an American and I love my country my grandfather, and father both fought for this country, but the way things are going I wonder why they would have fought for this?????

I blame the government for the last 20+ years for not dealing with this. There are good and bad immigrants, just as there are good and bad American citizens but since we failed to deal with this for so long we are now paying the price. We found out about some male using my SS# down in Los Angeles for unemployment benefits. Given that I have a female name, am not of that race and have never worked in SoCal ya think the unemployment office would have caught the fraud. I did and reported it!

If....it can be shown that illegally obtained documentation is, and can be proved to be identity theft of what ever form. The people who are in possession of said documents and property should be treated as anyone would be treated in this kind of criminal action.

Even when there was amnesty, people didn't do the required documentation necessary. There were even people to help these affected people with the paperwork.Cultural differences I guess. I don't get it. There are other Hispanics who immigrated legally to the United States don't get it either. Any ideas?
If they are in America and impersonating Americans, then let them serve hard time, as any law-breaking, identity thieving citizen would do, for violating the law.





Let them serve time in prison and cause that they be in a work force (prison work) to earn money which is sent to their victims. After their victims are paid back, let them earn the money to pay for their deportation!

Yes. And forgive me if I may sound too bold, but my feeling, and that is mine alone, is that the Authorities know where the illegals go get their documents ';fixed';. The employers need to be heavily fined for this, stores that do this kind of thing need to be closed. . .





Personally, I am against illegal immigration because it is just that: Not legal. Besides, there are employers who abuse of these people's basic rights when they come to this country with a promise of a better life. Therefore, the guest worker program, well placed will give the opportunity for those who legitimately want to work, and grant them those basic worker rights. . . whereas the illegal worker has none whatsoever.
I worked for the Texas Department of Human Services for 13 year dealing with illegals and they have numerous ways of ';becoming legal'. iN some cases they steal identities or assume those of dead people, some buy fake documents and some employers even provide them with a fake social security card or documents. In Texas and many other states illegals can obtain a drivers license, Sometimes they use the s.s. number of one of their children born in the USA who we provide with food stamps and medicaid. Sometimes they just make up numbers which happen to be someone elses


I argued the same thing every day, but we were not allowed to report the illegals.
